Justice Bus Fellow / Attorney
Niagara Falls, NY Summary: - Neighborhood Legal Services (NLS) is a nonprofit organization providing civil legal services in Western New York. - NLS is seeking a Justice Bus Fellow/Attorney to join their team and help increase access to legal services for low-income individuals. - The Justice Bus Attorney will work from NLS's Buffalo office and coordinate and staff community outreach programs and events in the five county service area. - Candidates with experience working with low-income and underserved communities, second language fluency, and a legal services background are preferred. - The attorney will be responsible for conducting community outreach events and presentations, developing relationships with community partners, and managing a personal caseload. - This is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary of $58,000 - $80,000, excellent benefits, and a 35-hour work week with shorter summer hours. - To apply, candidates must submit a resume, cover letter, 3 references, and a writing sample to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** with the subject line "Justice Bus Attorney Application." |
