LOCATION: Hybrid working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin) and remote working

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

As future focussed finance business partners our objective is to support the business in the development and delivery of AIB's strategic and financial objectives. We aim to provide ‘real time' support and analysis and to be trusted advisers, assisting the business in decision making. 

A vacancy has arisen in the Subsidiaries Finance Business Partner team which forms a part of the wider Finance Business Partner Team of 38. This particular role focuses primarily on supporting the AIB Irish Subsidiaries (AIB Mortgage Bank, EBS, Haven Mortgages and AIB Insurance Services) in delivering against their operational and strategic objectives. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop a deep knowledge of AIB's mortgage and insurance businesses and exposure to wider AIB Group support functions including Treasury, Capital & Liquidity and Risk.

This role reports into the head of the team and is being offered on a permanent basis.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

*Provide accurate, timely and insightful financial performance reporting and forecasting on an ongoing basis to subsidiary SMT's and Boards *Prepare subsidiary 3-year financial plans including funding, lending, net interest income, other income, costs (direct & allocated) and capital *Provide relevant insights and analysis on business performance, strategy and business initiatives *Liaise with the subsidiary management teams and Retail Banking business partner to monitor and understand financial performance and ensure appropriate reporting at entity level *Support cost management through planning & forecasting as well as active monitoring and reporting to help deliver the Bank's cost reduction targets *Play a leading role in the delivery of Annual Financial Reports and supporting papers for subsidiary Audit Committees and Boards. *Support further development and provision of financial management Information *Build and maintain strong working relationships with Retail Business management, within Finance and with other support areas, characterised by high levels of co-operation

*Qualified Accountant with minimum of 3 years' experience ideally in a finance, product, portfolio management or similar role *Proven business understanding and commercial acumen *The ability to analyse and interpret data, to assess its value and to present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way *Results driven individual with proven track record in performance management and problem solving *Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
