LOCATION: Hybrid working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin) and remote working

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

As future focussed finance business partners our objective is to support the business in the development and delivery of AIB's strategic and financial objectives. We aim to provide ‘real time' support and analysis and to be trusted advisers, assisting the business in decision making. 

A vacancy has arisen in the Treasury & Capital Markets Finance Business Partner team.  This role focuses on supporting Treasury in delivering against their operational and strategic objectives. Treasury is responsible for management of interest rate risk, investment of bank funds, managing the bank's liquidity and the provision of FX and interest rate hedging products to customers.  Treasury is a highly technical and dynamic business area which require a high level of specialised support from Finance.  The role requires close contact with treasury management through formal and informal meetings and with other support teams particularly within Finance.    

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

*Provide insightful monthly performance reporting for Treasury to support them in achieving their financial targets *Support delivery of the 3-year Financial Plan and ad hoc agile forecasting *Provide strategic financial challenge, advice and support to Treasury for assessment of various initiatives, including investment and divestment of financial assets/liabilities *Support cost management through planning & forecasting as well as active monitoring and cost analysis to help deliver the Bank's cost targets *Support further development and provision of appropriate financial KPIs to manage and measure the business against strategic commitments and support decision making *Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Treasury Senior Management Team (SMT), Finance and with other stakeholder areas *Support the review and analysis of Treasury Wholesale Funding Costs for the organisation *People development responsibility; provide guidance and support to one junior member on the team

*Professional Qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CFA), ideally with 1-3 years' experience working in a finance, treasury or performance management role *The ability to analyse and interpret data, to assess its value and communicate findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way *Results driven individual with proven track record in performance management and problem solving skills *Effective core business capabilities including negotiating and influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
