Bilingual Quality Improvement Specialist - English + M-F + Competitive Pay + Excellent Benefits
San Juan, PR Company Name: Kroger Specialty Pharmacy Position Type: Employee FLSA Status: POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for managing evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of Health and Wellness quality improvement projects; analyzing and summarizing quality data related to Health and Wellness programs and services; and leading quality improvement projects for Kroger Health with an emphasis on Kroger Specialty Pharmacy. Serve as the quality assurance expert in process change/performance improvement to develop, execute, and monitor healthcare quality initiatives. Work in collaboration with subject matter experts to support accreditation activities. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Lead quality improvement projects and project teams as a result of opportunities identified through Nonconformance Management, accreditation survey findings, quality measurements, internal audits, and activities related to the Kroger Health strategy *Perform continuous monitoring of process improvement activities to maintain controlled results *Perform and compile audit results on key processes, systems, and certain regulation compliance, such as HIPAA; identify and recommend areas of improvement *Create quality and process improvement plans that establish priorities for quality, safety, and performance improvement activities, and align activities and projects to organizational mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives *Identify, implement, monitor, and analyze Corrective and Preventive Actions though the Nonconformance Management Program *Assist with accreditation quality measures, including but not limited to URAC, ACHC, Joint Commission, and preparing the organization for accreditation or client surveys and audits *Participate in a variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies *Assist with other duties and special projects at the discretion of manager or other quality and regulatory team leadership *Travel to sites to oversee the implementation and follow up of new or enhanced programs as needed *Perform other related duties as assigned *Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in business or healthcare management, or a quality or science related field *3 years of experience in quality, pharmacy, and/or healthcare related role *Any experience as a quality analyst, coordinator, or quality improvement specialist *Proficient in Microsoft Office *Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills *Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and protect sensitive information *Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlines *Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skill with high attention to detail *Able to work independently and as part of a team *Able to quickly grasp complex issues and develop viable solutions *Demonstrated experience developing primary research methodologies, design, and analysis DESIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION *Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or similar, Pharmacy Technician Certification, Healthcare or Quality related certification, Certification in process improvement or project management *Any pharmacy technician or other relevant healthcare experience *Any experience in data/statistical analysis *Demonstrated leadership, coaching and influencing skills Education Level: Bachelor's Required Required Certifications/Licenses: None Position Type: Full-Time Shift(s): [[mfield4]] Regions: Any States: Puerto Rico Keywords: Compliance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control Jobs at Kroger: At Kroger, we hire people who have a passion for helping others and who want to build a relationship with our Customers.
