TITLE:     Account Coordinator

OBJECTIVE:

Coordinate specific brand accounts for wholesale customers. Function as a liaison between account executives and customers.  Work with sales, distribution center, external buyers/store owners and credit department to ensure timeliness and accuracy for customer satisfaction.

REPORTS TO: VP Sourcing 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain knowledge of US customs regulations, harmonized tariff classifications, customs binding rulings, fish and wildlife regulations, and export regulations
• Assign HTS codes
• Review import documents
• Liaise with in-country coordinators and customers regarding HTS codes and customs documentation
• Keep abreast of developments and regulatory changes impacting customs compliance
• Run daily on-order reports
• Research open orders for issue resolution
• Answer product/order inquiries
• Enter orders after confirmation with account executives and production
• Responsible for accuracy of order (color, material, price and shipping date) and on time delivery to customer
• Work with management and account executives on pricing approvals
• Partner with credit department for new account approvals and to arrange payment with customers
• Setup, maintain, update and manage licensing linesheets and submit to licensing teams for approval
• Manage and maintain EDI
• Work with EDI/IT teams to resolve any transmission issues
• Receive, analyze and address any customer complaints and work to resolve
• Work with production, logistics and management on meeting monthly forecast goals
• Review monthly on order with production to ensure on time deliveries.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Ability to interact with cross functional teams while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.
• Customer service driven.
• Demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Working knowledge of ABS (Apparel Business System) a plus
 
EDUCATION:
• Associates or Bachelors College Degree and comparable retail or fashion work experience preferred
