Solicitor – Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom Law Firm is looking for a Solicitor to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team. This opportunity arises as a result of growing business needs and a high-quality volume of work in the team. Law Firm is a highly regarded practice, with over 120 members of staff across six office locations and with clear plans for growth and expansion over the next five years. With two Senior Directors and a department consisting of 9 team members across two Law Firm offices, this presents a hugely exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is looking to progress their career in a supportive environment. Job Description • A Solicitor is required to join the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team at Law Firm • The successful candidate will have experience in general civil and commercial litigation, including property litigation • It would be desirable (but not essential) for candidates to also have knowledge and experience of employment law or contentious probate, or a desire to learn in one of these disciplines • The appropriate candidate for this role will have the ability to manage their own caseload • Level of qualification should not be seen as a bar to applying for this role • Law Firm prides itself upon the open-door policy of its directors and its commitment to continuing professional development • The successful candidate for this position will be expected to meet with the current Heads of Department on a regular basis, and to help to shape the litigation and dispute resolution team with other non-director members of the team for the future • Requests for flexible and agile working can be considered • Salary and remuneration commensurate with experience and responsibility Qualifications and Experience • NQ - 10 PQE plus • Qualified solicitor with experience in general civil and commercial litigation, including property litigation • Knowledge and experience of employment law or contentious probate would be desirable but not essential • Ability to manage own caseload Application Process • Interest in this position should be directed to Adam Fleming (**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***) or Fiona McAnaw (**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***) Law Firm is looking for a Solicitor to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team.
