## HCR Hewitsons is Seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Agriculture and Estates Team

HCR Hewitsons is a leading law firm in the country with 54 fee earners across the firm working closely with the agricultural industry making it one of the largest agricultural teams in the country. The firm is currently looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture and Estates team.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be part of the market leading Agriculture and Estates team of HCR Hewitsons which has consistently been top ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

The role involves working on all aspects of farms and estate management, including property sales and purchases, tax and succession planning, conservation management and natural capital and strategic land and renewable projects. The firm acts for some of the largest landowners in the country, with four of its clients being within the top 50 landowners in the UK.

**About You:**

The ideal candidate should have 5 years of PQE and have worked in rural property previously, ideally with some experience of succession planning and/or partnerships. However, applications from candidates with mixed property experience are welcomed. The candidate should also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, have excellent technical ability and drafting skills, demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills, and have strong commercial acumen.
