Raleigh, NC Law Firm Seeking Employment Litigation Associate in Raleigh, NC Salary Information: Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate Experience: 5 years of experience, employment law background strongly preferred Department: Employment and Labor Law Job Description: Litigation is an integral part of the legal system, and as an Employment Litigation Associate at our law firm, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in representing employers in a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney with a strong background in employment law to join our team in Raleigh, NC. Responsibilities: As an Employment Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for litigating lawsuits, representing employers in court and before administrative agencies, and providing guidance to employers on compliance with fair employment laws. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Litigating lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination Representing employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, and employment tort cases Advising employers regarding compliance with fair employment laws and related risk management, including dispute resolution programs Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications: JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials 5 years of experience, employment law background strongly preferred Current NC Bar admission or ability to obtain admission Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures Excellent written and oral communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills We are an equal employment opportunity employer and value diversity.
