Position Overview

As a Hearing Coverage Attorney, you will play a key role in representing the firm at pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances throughout the Dallas area, including Dallas, Denton, Collin, and Tarrant counties. You will be expected to manage a high volume of court appearances and will have the opportunity to demonstrate your legal expertise and grow within a well-established, yet forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the firm in hearings, pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court-related matters in designated counties.

Manage a high-volume caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.

Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Communicate directly with opposing counsel and court personnel as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Court experience preferred, with a demonstrated ability to handle legal proceedings independently.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in computer and word processing applications.
