Staff Accountant

H2: Remote Opportunity with Competitive Compensation and Benefits Law Firm Seeking Skilled Staff Accountant for Financial Reporting Department The Opportunity: - Work remotely from any state where our firm has an office - Collaborate with a dynamic team in day-to-day accounting and financial analysis - Develop process solutions through automation and innovation - Competitive compensation and benefits package Key Responsibilities: - Serve as primary point of contact for vendor maintenance - Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts - Assist with month-end and year-end close processes - Provide ad hoc analysis to senior leadership - Contribute to annual audits and government surveys Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business - 1 years of accounting experience preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint - Experience with bookkeeping programs such as Aderant and Iridium a plus - Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting standards - Analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail - Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization - Self-starter with ability to manage competing priorities Join Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a national law firm, as a Staff Accountant and be a part of our collaborative and innovative team.
