Clinical Contract Manager
Cambridge, MA Job Title: Clinical Contract Manager Department: Global Clinical Development Operations (CDO) Experience Level: 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical trial contract management Location: Cambridge, UK Salary Range: $91,500 - $134,200 annually Job Requisition ID: R-17863 H1: Join Our Team as a Clinical Contract Manager H2: Global R&D Position with Ipsen Bioscience, Inc. Responsibilities: - Manage and facilitate clinical trial/clinical project related contracts in compliance with legal department and company policies and procedures - Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions with clinical sites and service providers - Act as a single point of contact for contractual matters and provide issue resolution - Monitor contract close-out, extension, or renewal as needed - Collaborate with R&D Legal and other functional leaders to ensure appropriate contracts are in place - Establish and maintain relationships with service providers - Participate in low-risk resolution of contract-related issues and escalate high-risk disputes to R&D Legal - Operate under strict compliance with legal guidelines for changes to standard terms and conditions - Develop and implement contract management training and tools for R&D personnel - Keep up to date on industry trends and country-specific requirements for contracts - Participate in EHS training and comply with regulations and procedures Requirements: - Master's degree in a relevant field required - 5 years of experience in clinical trial contract management, including international experience - Familiarity with reviewing and negotiating standard terms and conditions and legal approved clauses in contract templates - Experience working with cross-functional teams - Fluent in English, additional languages a plus - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Self-motivated and able to work independently - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively - Strong business acumen and understanding of clinical research needs Company Overview: Ipsen Bioscience, Inc. is a global pharmaceutical company with a focus on research and development.
