In this role, you will lead the G&A Contracting group and be responsible for managing a team, negotiating contracts, and advising on legal matters related to the company's G&A functions. Job Summary: As the Senior Director and Counsel for G&A Contracts & Data Privacy, you will lead a team and be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and amending a wide range of contracts to support the company's G&A functions. This includes contracts related to information technology, information security, and data privacy. You will also advise on existing agreements, develop policies and procedures, and manage the growth and development of your team. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and personally undertake contract drafting, review, and negotiation. - Identify and communicate legal risks to internal decision-makers. - Advise and counsel on existing agreements. - Develop and update policies and procedures related to your areas of support. - Lead the improvement of contract drafting and negotiation processes. - Manage the growth and development of your team. - Handle miscellaneous legal tasks as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and JD required. - Certification in data privacy is highly desirable. - 8-10 years of experience as a transactional attorney in a law firm or in-house legal environment. - Extensive contract drafting and negotiation experience. - Management experience required. - Deep understanding of document and contract management systems. Skills and Abilities: - Strong management skills and ability to build relationships. - Executive presence and ability to interact with executives and senior management. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. - Works well under pressure and in a team environment. - Dedicated to quality and highest professional standards. - Self-starter and quick learner. - Good judgment. - Strong computer skills. Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive base salary range of $243,000 - $344,000 annually. - Additional compensation may be based on geographic region and other factors. - Comprehensive benefits package, including a 401k plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts. - Eligible for annual bonus program or sales-based incentive plan. - Opportunity to purchase company stock and receive long-term incentives. - Generous vacation and holiday time.
