Associate Director, Litigations And Investigations Lead Us

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
Job Title: Associate Director, Litigation & Investigation US
Experience: 5-7 years in a large law firm or in-house legal department

Purpose and Scope:

- Responsible for providing legal services for litigation and investigation matters in the U.S. and across other commercial divisions
- Manages all aspects of litigation and investigations, including risk assessment and strategic resolution
- Supports the achievement of the Company’s Corporate Strategic Plan objectives and mitigates risks
- Provides legal support and counseling to clients on proactive approaches and potential disputes
- Coordinates with other teams and departments to ensure compliance and good corporate governance

Essential Job Responsibilities:

- Develops and implements strategies for litigation, arbitrations, and disputes in the U.S. and globally
- Provides legal support and counseling to clients on complex issues and proactively identifies potential risk areas
- Manages responses to subpoenas and coordinates with the Corporate Communications function
- Works closely with Corporate Risk Management on risk management programs and insurance claims
- Supports the implementation of electronic discovery processes and manages outside counsel
- Coordinates with other Legal teams and departments for a collaborative approach
- Promotes a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team

Organizational Context:

- Member of the Legal Litigation & Investigation function under the Litigation, Investigations, Employment & Governance Tower
- Provides legal support to the U.S. Commercial Division and other commercial divisions
- Works closely with other Legal teams and the General Counsel

Qualifications:

- Law Degree, LL.M. or equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in a large law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong understanding of U.S. litigation processes and procedures, as well as global processes
- Deep understanding of legal issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage a large workload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong commitment to integrity and professionalism
