Tax Experienced Associate - Internal Tax Services

Baker Tilly is seeking an experienced associate to join our Internal Partnership Tax Services team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $62,730 to $110,760 and provides the opportunity to work remotely or at one of our various office locations throughout the U.S. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a steady schedule without the typical tax busy season and wants to grow professionally in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Associate in Internal Partnership Tax Services, you will work closely with firm leadership to provide tax preparation, planning, and consulting services. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team, develop your technical skills, and provide creative solutions to complex tax challenges for our clients. This role also offers the flexibility to work remotely and the potential for career growth within our firm.

What You Will Do

- Provide federal tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships within Baker Tilly
- Conduct tax research and draft responses to IRS inquiries
- Collaborate with leaders on special projects related to flow through taxation
- Identify and share recommendations with leadership to strategize and improve services
- Participate in firm-wide learning and development programs and receive on-the-job coaching and mentoring
- Utilize your networking skills to build relationships within the firm
- Support the growth and development of team members through our "Care and Teach" philosophy
- Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with social activities and team outings

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related field
- CPA license preferred
- 1 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a public accounting firm
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership, project management, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Must be eligible to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state of consideration
