In this role, you will provide legal guidance on hospital and affiliated entity matters and attend to other legal needs for the Health Support Center (HSC). Responsibilities: • Provide legal services for day-to-day operations of hospitals, surgery centers, and other operating divisions and facilities • Maintain extensive knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws • Collaborate with department attorneys and support staff in providing legal guidance • Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems and develop strategies to avoid costly litigation • Participate in acquisition and divestiture transactions • Assist in developing processes, templates, and training materials to improve efficiency and compliance • Collaborate with the Compliance Department to handle compliance-related matters • Supervise and direct outside counsel • Possess excellent communication skills for discussing complex legal matters with company leadership • Ability to work independently on complex legal matters and major HSC projects • Manage and develop staff Requirements: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree • Minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare environment • Tennessee (TN) license to practice law Why Choose **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***: At **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, we believe in the power of our talented teams and strive to create environments where employees find purpose and fulfillment.
