This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and commercialization of innovative cancer therapeutics. The position will report to the head of Biologics IP, US. Responsibilities: - Conduct patent and prior art searches, competitive landscape analysis, and patentability and freedom to operate analysis for the biologics portfolio - Serve as a strategic partner and thought leader on IP issues for the company in discovery, research, manufacturing, and development - Collaborate with outside counsel, R&D, and business development on patent filing and prosecution matters - Build and maintain a strong intellectual property portfolio to support R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization efforts - Support corporate and business development activities through due diligence assessments, contract drafting and negotiation, and alliance management - Monitor patent trends and case law developments and adjust IP strategies accordingly - Review draft publications and presentations - Provide litigation support, including validity and non-infringement analysis - Technology field includes antibodies, mAbs, bispecific antibodies, ADCs, mRNAs, CAR-T therapies, NK cell therapies, stem cell therapies, and gene-editing cell therapies Qualifications: - Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school - Admitted to USPTO and at least one state bar - 7 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical IP practice - Advanced degree in biological sciences preferred - Deep understanding of global biopharmaceutical patent law and regulations - Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and strong understanding of drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization - Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment - Able to handle confidential information with discretion and judgment Competencies: - Ethics - Planning and organizing - Communication - Teamwork - Adaptability - Technical skills - Dependability - Quality - Analytical thinking - Problem solving - Project management - Global competencies: fosters teamwork, provides and solicits feedback, self-awareness, acts inclusively, demonstrates initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, continuous learning, embraces change, results-oriented, analytical thinking, financial excellence, communicates with clarity Salary Range: $193,400.00 - $253,400.00 annually **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
