Job Title: Paralegal - Commercial Real Estate

Salary Information: The salary for this position starts at $55,000 per year, but may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Experience Information: The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in the commercial real estate industry.

H2: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review, track, and monitor legislation that impacts the company’s products and/or processes
• Assist in implementing changes to contracts to comply with legislation/regulations
• Assist with paperwork needed by the SEC, IRS, UCC and other regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to trade, governance, and employee rights
• Prepare legal documents and case components, including affidavits, pleadings, appeals, briefs, and closings for attorneys
• Assist lawyers with drafting contracts and other legal documents
• Partner with legal team on special projects and initiatives

This role will involve reviewing, gathering, organizing, and processing information relevant to case files, as well as conducting research into governmental and financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Review, track, and monitor legislation that impacts the company’s products and/or processes
• Assist in implementing changes to contracts to comply with legislation/regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent drafting skills
• Ability to create templates and forms for documents and collect metrics
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, confidentiality, and collaboration
