We are looking for a candidate with experience in civil defense litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, and knowledge of state and federal court procedures. Multi-state knowledge is a plus.
As a Litigation Secretary, your responsibilities will include preparing and filing legal documents, communicating with clients and external parties, managing mail and files, scheduling appointments and travel arrangements, and collaborating with team members. You will also utilize software for workflow management.
To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. You should also have 3-5 years of experience in civil defense litigation and proficiency in relevant software applications and programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role.
