Compliance with court and jurisdictional rules and deadlines is also a key aspect of this role, with an annual billable requirement of 1,250 hours per year. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of four years of experience as a practicing family law attorney and a deep understanding of family law proceedings. Proficiency in drafting motions and discovery requests and responses is necessary, while trial experience and experience in taking and defending depositions is a plus. Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and research skills are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
