Principal/sr Principal Contract Administrator
Huntsville, MD Principal/Sr Principal Contract Administrator - Huntsville, AL Salary Range: $76,600 - $164,900 Experience: 10 years of contract administration experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in lieu of degree Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Principal or Senior Principal Contracts Administrator to join their team in supporting the C4 Missile Defense (C4MD) Business Unit. As a Principal or Senior Principal Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for leading solicitation reviews, proposal preparation, and negotiations. You will also administer, extend, and close standard and nonstandard contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. You will collaborate with the program team to ensure successful program performance, closely monitoring contract funding and payments. Additionally, you will maintain historical information and advise management of contractual rights and obligations. To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of contract administration experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or additional years in lieu of a degree. You must also have at least 4 years of experience managing proposals and negotiating nonstandard contracts, and 5 years of experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration with working knowledge of FAR/DFARS. A current US DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is also required. This position may involve domestic and international travel as needed to support program and capture needs.
