Cleveland, OH Law Firm Seeks Experienced Litigation Paralegal with Competitive Salary H1: Join Our Team as a Litigation Paralegal at a Top Law Firm H2: Essential Responsibilities and Requirements for Litigation Paralegal Position Kisling, Nestico & Redick, a leading law firm in Ohio, is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our office, Monday through Friday. We offer a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by investigating and researching facts, organizing case materials, and communicating with clients. Your responsibilities will include case management, communication, and other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, you must have a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as a strong understanding of legal practices and procedures. Some of your essential responsibilities as a Litigation Paralegal will include: - Managing cases by obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records - Conducting insurance coverage investigations - Preparing damage summaries, including medical expenses and lost wages - Logging daily mail and forwarding medical records to insurance carriers - Drafting correspondence and assisting with subrogation lien resolution - Preparing check requests and maintaining check records - Assisting attorneys with settlement documentation and disbursements - Communicating regularly with clients regarding case status - Providing support for team members in their absence - Meeting or exceeding goals set by the firm To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED required - 3-5 years of relevant work experience required - Paralegal certificate required - Bachelor's degree preferred In addition to these qualifications, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a high command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling. You should also have a strong understanding of business practices, standard clerical procedures, and legal documentation preparation procedures.
