Trust Officer
Greenville, DE Trust Officer - Manage and administer high net worth trust and estate relationships for Citi's Private Bank clients, ensuring preservation and growth of assets while achieving specific planning objectives. H1: Trust Officer - High Net Worth Trust and Estate Management for Citi's Private Bank Clients H2: Manage and Administer Trust and Estate Relationships for Ultra-High Net Worth Clients Responsibilities: - Manage an existing book of trust and estate accounts for ultra-high net worth clients, including various types of trusts, IRA accounts, charitable trusts, estate accounts, and agency accounts. - Initiate investment management by coordinating with Private Bankers and Investment Counselors and utilizing both internal and external investment managers. - Review and update information for each account during the annual administrative review process. - Assess the client's overall estate and tax planning needs by reviewing legal and trust documentation. - Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures, including reporting to the Senior Risk Committee. - Communicate effectively with clients and their advisors, as well as internal teams. - Oversee and manage Assistant Trust Officers. - Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain a presence in the trust and estate professional community. Qualifications: - 6-10 years of experience in estate or trust management and administration. - MBA or JD desired. - Strong knowledge and technical proficiency in legal, investment, and tax issues related to trust and estate management. - CFTA certification preferred. - Experience with Fiduciary Income Tax. Education: - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
