Job Description:
- Represent the State of Texas at legal proceedings to establish, enforce, and modify child support and medical support court orders
- Provide legal advice, consultation, and training to the Child Support Program
- Maintain knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code
- Collaborate with other state agencies and community organizations to serve the needs of Texas families
- Comply with agency policies and procedures, including those pertaining to ethics and integrity

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed as an attorney by the State of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code
- Strong legal writing, mediation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% for business-related purposes

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in handling Family Law cases
- Jury trial experience
- Experience in handling a high-volume legal practice
- Proficiency in Spanish language

Job Description:
As an Assistant Attorney General, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Texas families by representing the State in legal proceedings related to child support and medical support court orders. This includes providing legal advice, consultation, and training to the Child Support Program and collaborating with other state agencies and community organizations to serve the needs of Texas families. You will also maintain knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code and comply with all agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. You should also have knowledge of Family Law and the Texas Family Code, strong legal writing, mediation, and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in handling Family Law cases, jury trial experience, and experience in a high-volume legal practice. Proficiency in Spanish language is also preferred.
