Overview:
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***'s Office is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to provide legal representation to state agencies and employees in matters involving the Risk Management Division of ADOA. This position requires extensive experience in civil litigation, including pretrial and trial practice, and the ability to manage a high volume of complex cases. Key Duties:
- Provide legal representation to state agencies and employees in matters involving the Risk Management Division of ADOA
- Serve as Lead Counsel/First Chair on litigation matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Supervise support staff and mentor less experienced attorneys
- Travel within and outside of Arizona as needed

Qualifications:
- Extensive civil litigation experience, including pretrial and trial practice involving complex cases
- Admission to and good standing with the Arizona State Bar
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and handle stressful situations

Retirement:
This position participates in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) with enrollment eligibility becoming effective after 27 weeks of employment.
