The Child Services Attorney will provide legal advice and services to the Department of Child Services for matters relating to child welfare, child support, and personnel issues. They will also represent the state in court cases involving child abuse and neglect, termination of parental rights, adoptions, and other legal issues related to the safety of children. This position offers immediate trial experience and does not involve billable hours.

This role requires a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and admission to the Indiana Bar or any state bar within the United States. Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills are also necessary, as well as a demonstrated knowledge of relevant statutes, case law, and rules.
