Law Firm Description:
We are a leading law firm specializing in intellectual property law. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest level of legal services to our clients in the protection and management of their intellectual property assets. We are currently seeking an experienced IP Legal Assistant to join our team.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a skilled administrative role is required.
- Familiarity with USPTO filing systems.
- Familiarity with International IP filing systems, particularly through WIPO, preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or manage day to day client and attorney functions related to Intellectual Property practices.
- Process incoming and outgoing file transfers and prioritizing action items based on urgency.
- Submit patent, trademark, and copyright applications and file associated documents with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and U.S. Copyright Office.
- Manage client reporting and deadline tracking processes.
- Support time entry and billing process and collaborate with Accounting as needed.
- Remain current with changes to USPTO policies and processes.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Office, IP software and use of databases.
- Knowledge and comfort with U.S. IP processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines.

Salary Information:
The salary for this position ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth within our firm.
