WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS POSITION - Work with a team to provide innovative and comprehensive career planning, advising, and training services for law students. - Personalize career advising for each assigned law student to maximize their potential. - Cultivate an expansive nationwide professional network of high-quality employers. - Support the implementation of career and professional development programs and services. - Foster a professional and welcoming atmosphere for students, employers, and other guests. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Juris Doctor degree. - 3-5 years of experience in a legal practice setting, legal recruiting, law school career services office, or other legal education setting. - Emotional intelligence to establish rapport with students from various backgrounds. - Ability to communicate the worth and potential of each student clearly. - Excitement about the practice of law and the opportunities available for meaningful employment and leadership. - Demonstrated ability to address challenges using innovative solutions. - Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and writing. - Ability to travel for employment-related recruiting trips and conferences. - Committed work ethic. - Ability to work closely with and gain the trust of law students. - Ability to collect, submit, and analyze employment data. - Ability to work well with employers, students, alumni, faculty, and law school administrators. - Ability to work within a team. - Professional integrity and excellent judgment. - Sensitivity with confidential information.
