H1: Deputy Prosecuting Attorney--Attorney Supervisor
H2: Overview of the Position

The Deputy Prosecuting Attorney--Attorney Supervisor is a vital role within the Office of Prosecutor Coordinator. This position is responsible for supervising other deputy prosecuting attorneys and providing legal guidance and technical assistance to the department's management and staff. The successful candidate will have a law degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law and be admitted to the Arkansas State Bar, and have prior experience in criminal prosecution, supervising attorneys, and conducting litigation.

Responsibilities

- Prosecuting circuit court cases in the respective judicial district
- Supervising other deputy prosecuting attorneys by assigning or reviewing work, reviewing legal documents, and assisting in charging decisions
- Reviewing and meeting with law enforcement regarding investigations and interviews of witnesses in the judicial district
- Drafting briefs, motions, and other supporting legal documents on criminal cases within the judicial district
- Representing the State of Arkansas in legal proceedings within the judicial district
- Other duties as assigned by the department

Qualifications

- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law and admitted to the Arkansas State Bar
- Valid Arkansas driver's license

- Prior experience in conducting litigation
- Knowledge of Arkansas criminal law and procedure, court rules, and Rules of Evidence

Salary

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $79,500.00.
