Law Firm Seeks Experienced Immigration Paralegal in New Jersey - Full Time, Remote Hybrid Position

Overview: Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal for a full-time, remote hybrid position in their Immigration Department. Position Summary:

In this role, the Immigration Paralegal will provide support to attorneys in the Immigration Department by assisting with a variety of business immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of immigration law and be willing to work flexible hours when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare petitions and applications for various immigration matters (PERM, I-140, CP, AOS, Naturalization, H-1B, L, E-1/2, TN, O-1, J, EB-5)
• Respond to complex requests for evidence
• Manage individual caseload to ensure timely completion of work
• Conduct research on immigration law and procedures
• Maintain case management database and handle client communication
• Create and maintain reports as needed
• Schedule visa appointment interviews with USCIS and U.S. consulate/embassies
• Assist with client intakes and prepare client mailings and submissions to immigration offices
• Communicate with government agencies (DOL, USCIS, NVC) to resolve any issues
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Able to adapt to changing demands and work well under pressure

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certification, or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business immigration within a law firm
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Familiarity with immigration case management systems (INSZoom)
• Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
