Job Title: Director of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
Department: Civil Rights & Title IX Compliance

Responsibilities:

- Oversee comprehensive response and support services for reports of sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment from students, faculty, staff, and third parties
- Manage case management process for reports and maintain contact with involved parties throughout investigation and hearing processes
- Facilitate alternative resolutions and maintain data and case records associated with educational responses
- Track and report on case data to identify patterns and systemic concerns
- Lead the annual review and development of Equity policies and procedures
- Respond to critical incidents involving discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct, including during evening and weekend hours
- Supervise Outreach and Education Coordinator for training and outreach activities on relevant policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Master's degree in higher education administration, student services, counseling, conflict management, social work, or related field OR law degree
- 7 years of professional experience in higher education, student affairs, Title IX, or civil rights
- Knowledge of Title IX, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and other applicable laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate across the university
- Knowledge and experience in addressing issues related to sex discrimination and sexual violence
- Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act independently and exercise sound judgment
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity

Salary Information:

- Target hiring range: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
- Offered salary will be based on education, experience, skills, and alignment with market data
