This is an excellent opportunity for an Entry-Level Attorney to gain valuable experience and grow their career with a well-established firm. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in Criminal Defense law, a Juris Doctorate degree, and active bar admission (law graduates awaiting admission will also be considered). Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, but not required. Responsibilities As the Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and will be responsible for managing a caseload, advising clients on their legal rights, attending pretrial hearings, and conducting legal research. Other responsibilities include: - Drafting legal documents and motions - Managing court appearances and trials - Interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence - Providing legal analysis to determine case benefits - Preparing clients for depositions - Collaborating with the Criminal Defense Team Qualifications - Demonstrated interest in Criminal Defense law - Juris Doctorate degree - Active bar admission (law graduates awaiting admission will also be considered) - Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred, but not required - Strong interpersonal skills - Experience with Case Management Software preferred Salary and Benefits The Matian Firm, APC offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year (based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parking, and paid time off.
