As the Criminal Defense Associate Attorney, you will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and work alongside our experienced Criminal Defense Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice to clients and draft necessary legal documents - Attend pretrial hearings and advise clients on best strategies - Manage court appearances, trials, and conduct legal research - Analyze potential outcomes of cases based on legal precedents - Manage caseload and provide legal analysis for clients - Gather evidence and prepare clients for depositions - Collaborate with team members to strategize and achieve case goals Qualifications: - Experience handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local level - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred - Passion for Criminal Defense and desire to learn and grow within the legal industry Salary Information: - Pay Range: $90,000 to $130,000 annual salary - Pay can be exceeded depending on experience on a case-by-case basis Benefits Offered: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Competitive compensation package - Paid parking and time off Join our team at The Matian Firm, APC and work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
