Receptionist

Responsibilities: - Greet clients and visitors, inquire about their purpose of visit and provide initial information about the firm's services and availability of lawyers - Record and forward all information provided by clients to lawyers or legal assistants - Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain office supplies and equipment - Assist with scheduling and coordinating client meetings and appointments - Handle telephone calls and messages, transfer calls and take detailed messages - Perform various clerical duties as needed, including data entry and filing - Keep conference and shared spaces tidy and ready for client meetings - Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure smooth functioning of the office Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED - Entry level experience working in an office setting, preferably in the legal environment - Familiarity with general office practices and procedures - Strong multitasking and time management skills - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to make sound judgments and decisions - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ProDoc Salary Information: - Hiring Range: $17/hour Benefits: - Medical and dental insurance - 401(k) plan - Paid time off and holidays - Short-term and long-term disability insurance - Life insurance - Flexible spending accounts Experience the satisfaction of working for a firm that is dedicated to protecting consumer rights and making a difference in the lives of millions of Americans.
