Personal Injury Attorney- Associate
Marlton, NJ Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney- Associate Experience: 5-7 years Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications Location: Marlton, NJ Job Description: - Seeking an Associate Personal Injury Attorney with 5-7 years of experience for our Marlton, NJ office. - The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-directed and detail-oriented. - Responsibilities include supporting personal injury cases, drafting pleadings, engaging in written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and trial. - Must have experience evaluating the merits of a personal injury claim, retaining experts, and providing guidance and counsel to staff and clients. - Proactively communicate updates on case status to stakeholders and address any questions or concerns. - Work primarily in office, maintaining a physical presence for in-person collaboration and engagement with the team. - Must have admission in New Jersey, admission in New York or interest in barring in New York or PA is a bonus. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of experience handling personal injury cases preferred. - Strong research and writing skills. - Skilled in negotiation and drafting. - Superior verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrates integrity and professionalism. - Ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team. - Trial experience or a strong interest in litigation. - Admission in New Jersey required. Responsibilities: - Support personal injury cases, with limited oversight from other attorneys. - Responsible for all phases of personal injury litigation. - Draft pleadings, engage in written discovery, take and defend depositions, and attend trial. - Evaluate the merits of a personal injury claim, retain experts, and provide guidance and counsel to staff and clients. - Provide timely and consistent updates to stakeholders. - Foster an environment of open communication with team members and clients. - Work primarily in office, maintaining a physical presence for in-person collaboration. - Communicate any scheduled outings or remote work plans in advance.
