Associate Attorney - Commercial and Complex Litigation
Cerritos, CA Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Commercial and Complex Litigation department in our Cerritos, CA office. We are also open to considering candidates for our Irvine, Pasadena, and Sausalito, CA offices. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience handling defense of wage and hour litigation, with a preference for class actions. They should also have knowledge and experience with California and federal wage and hour laws, including overtime and meal and rest periods. Additionally, the candidate should have experience preparing and responding to written discovery in wage and hour litigation with limited supervision and oversight, as well as deposition and motion experience involving discovery issues. They should also have experience putting together discovery plans and executing them. The candidate should possess excellent writing skills, including opposing motions for class certification in wage and hour matters. They should also have the ability to interface with clients and convey a high level of professionalism and competence in both the legal and strategic aspects of wage and hour litigation. Excellent communication and follow-through skills are also essential. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
