Community Legal Aid (CLA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Staff Attorney in their Employment Law Unit. This position is available in either Greenfield or Springfield, and offers a starting salary of $71,500 with potential for adjustment based on experience. CLA also provides a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer-paid contribution, low-cost health insurance for employees and their dependents, and paid leave.

Qualifications for this position include fluency in Spanish (preferred), experience in poverty or employment law, and excellent communication skills. Third year law students, recent law school graduates, and experienced attorneys are all eligible to apply. A strong dedication to social justice and working with low-income communities is also required.

In this role, the Staff Attorney will handle cases involving unemployment, wage and hour issues, leave issues, and employment discrimination. They will also engage in community outreach and education, and collaborate with community partners. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work environment, requiring at least three days per week in the assigned office.
