As an Assistant Attorney General, you will be responsible for preparing and prosecuting cases, providing legal and technical support, forming relationships with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies, and delivering education and awareness presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to make a real impact in the fight against high tech crimes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and prosecute cases related to high tech crimes • Provide legal and technical support to investigators, prosecutors, and computer forensic examiners • Form relationships with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies • Design and present training programs to police officers and prosecutors • Respond to constituent correspondence • Deliver education and awareness presentations to various groups Qualifications: • Must be licensed by the State of Illinois • Minimum of 2-3 years post-graduate prosecution experience • Ideal candidates will have significant criminal prosecution and trial experience, as well as working knowledge of computer systems and technology Salary: Starting salary at $81,000, with potential for increase based on years of practice as a licensed attorney.
