- Investigate and prosecute all Illinois criminal offenses
- Handle proceedings to commit sex offenders pursuant to the Sexually Violent Persons (SVP) and Sexually Dangerous Persons (SDP) Acts
- Manage complex cases, including motion hearings and trials
- Oversee extensive discovery process
- Present and cross examine lay and expert witnesses
- Collaborate with Department of Corrections and Department of Human Services

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of prosecution experience
- Licensed by the State of Illinois at time of application
- Significant criminal prosecution and trial experience
- Ability to manage complex cases

Salary:

- Starting salary of $85,512 for those with minimum 3 years of post-graduate legal experience
- Salaries commensurate with experience
