Location: Los Angeles or San Diego Working Conditions: Eligible for telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs Final Filing Date: 10/14/2024 Position Type: 12 Month Limited Term - Full Time Overview: The California Department of Justice is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join the Attorney General's Honors Program as Graduate Legal Assistants (GLAs). This program provides an opportunity for GLAs to work in one of the Department's Civil, Criminal, Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse, or Public Rights Divisions under the supervision of a licensed attorney. GLAs will work on substantive legal matters of public interest and importance, conduct legal research, and assist in preparing legal documents. They may also have the opportunity to assist in special investigations and gain courtroom experience. In addition, GLAs will receive on-the-job training, career development programming, and mentorship.
