Essential Job Functions: - Conduct in-depth legal, corporate, financial, and general research using a variety of information resources. - Maintain a thorough understanding of the effectiveness and cost of information resources, utilizing the most relevant tools. - Provide clear and concise research summaries. - Train others on information resources and conduct presentations and orientations. - Stay up-to-date on new developments, technologies, and products in legal and business research. - Collaborate with practice groups and teams, providing valuable insights on information and training needs. - Keep leadership informed of library holdings and provide recommendations for resource renewal or discontinuation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in law, library science, information science, or a related field, with an MLIS or equivalent work experience. - 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional services firm, conducting similar responsibilities. - Knowledge of legal processes and advanced legal and business research skills. - Ability to synthesize relevant information for high-level decision making. - Experience supporting and providing competitive intelligence for marketing and business development. - Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent written, verbal, and editing communication abilities. - Familiarity with a range of legal and business information resources, such as Westlaw Precision, Lexis , and Bloomberg Law. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Experience developing and delivering training programs for attorneys and team members. - Ability to provide support to individuals in various locations, utilizing diverse communication methods. - Strong data collection, organization, analysis, and visualization skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Comfortable working both remotely and in an office setting. Salary Information: - Base annual pay range: $86,000-$115,000 - Salary will vary depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. - Comprehensive benefits package offered.
