Legal Counsel
Alpharetta, GA Salary Information: Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and a strong background in contract review and employment law. Responsibilities: - Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality requirements. - Develop and maintain contract templates, business processes, and internal policies to support the growth of the company. - Train business personnel and interact with clients to prepare and negotiate contract documents. - Lead audits of contract review processes. - Provide support to Human Resources, including advising on employee-related matters and drafting employment policies. - Offer general corporate advice on governance, risk management, and employment issues. - Support the formulation of proposals and responses to RFPs for large contracts with Fortune 500 companies. Requirements: - Law degree from an accredited US law school. - Admission to Georgia Bar within a reasonable time after hire. - 2-5 years of experience practicing law in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and review. - Knowledge of employment law, data privacy, corporate law, and international operations and tax laws preferred. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Business acumen and ability to apply it to legal and business issues. - Attention to detail and ability to adapt to new environments and teams quickly.
