Experience Information:

2-5 years of experience in contract review and employment law.
Experience in handling voluminous contracts of varying complexity.
Experience in employment law, data privacy, corporate law, domestic and international operations, and domestic and international tax law is preferred.

The Legal Counsel at Cennox is responsible for supporting the legal department in providing a full range of legal services to the company, with a focus on contract review and employment law. This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and a strong background in contract review and employment law.

Responsibilities:

- Draft, negotiate, and review commercial agreements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, business processes, and internal policies to support the growth of the company.
- Train business personnel and interact with clients to prepare and negotiate contract documents.
- Lead audits of contract review processes.
- Provide support to Human Resources, including advising on employee-related matters and drafting employment policies.
- Offer general corporate advice on governance, risk management, and employment issues.
- Support the formulation of proposals and responses to RFPs for large contracts with Fortune 500 companies.

Requirements:

- Law degree from an accredited US law school.
- Admission to Georgia Bar within a reasonable time after hire.
- 2-5 years of experience practicing law in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
- Knowledge of employment law, data privacy, corporate law, and international operations and tax laws preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Business acumen and ability to apply it to legal and business issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to adapt to new environments and teams quickly.
