Experience: Law or graduate student

- CLF, one of the nation's leading environmental advocacy organizations, is seeking interns and externs for the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025.
- Externs earn academic credit while interns must secure external financial funding.
- Remote and flexible work schedules are available.
- Interns and externs work closely with CLF attorneys and the Lake Champlain Lake Keeper.
- Gain experience in various aspects of environmental law and policy.
- Conduct legal research and writing, participate in negotiations, draft motions and other litigation filings, and collaborate with partner organizations.
- Accompany attorneys to court and regulatory proceedings.
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so apply as soon as possible.

Requirements:

- Cover letter

- Law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable)
- Writing sample demonstrating legal analysis
