Laurel, New Jersey. The Corporate Counsel will serve as a legal expert for matters related to project contracts, disputes, and litigation. Responsibilities: - Review and negotiate contracts, RFPs/RFQs, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other legal documents. - Coordinate with internal teams to identify project risks and provide recommendations for risk management. - Manage and oversee litigation and disputes. - Conduct internal and external investigations and respond to administrative charges. - Analyze non-compete/non-solicit agreements and draft cease and desist letters. - Possess knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. - Experience with AAPs and OFCCP audits. - Provide strategic counsel to other internal business partners, such as Human Resources. - Liaise with insurance brokers and internal corporate departments regarding coverage requirements and compliance. - Review and advise on insurance coverage issues for firm projects. - Assist with post-acquisition integration matters. - Handle general corporate governance matters, as needed. Qualifications: - J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials. - 4-6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably including in-house experience. - Must be licensed to practice in at least one state. - Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communication and interactions.
