Guaynabo, PR EEO Law Poster and Supplement. Lawyer - TSP: Civil Litigation and Insurance Coverage Law Overview: Triple S is seeking a talented and experienced Lawyer to join our team in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. This role will be responsible for handling civil litigation and insurance coverage law for the company's various business lines. Key Responsibilities: - Represent the company and its policyholders in administrative litigation and in state and federal courts - Develop litigation strategy and conduct discovery, write motions and legal memoranda - Conduct internal legal investigations and provide legal advice - Negotiate and reach agreements to avoid or conclude litigation - Prepare periodic reports and statistics on the development of litigation - Manage subpoenas and comply with orders or requests from administrative or judicial authorities - Notarize required company documents - Ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of legal services - Collaborate with legal adjusters and other corresponding areas Qualifications: - Juris Doctor from an accredited Law School - 3-5 years of experience practicing law in corporate law firms preferred - Admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico in good standing Company Policy: Triple S is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in hiring based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, civil status, social condition, political ideologies, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
