Job Summary:

DaVita is seeking a Paralegal II to join their legal department in Brentwood, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of paralegal experience and a degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies. Healthcare law experience and law firm experience are preferred. The Paralegal II will be responsible for managing multiple projects, communicating effectively, and maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail. They will also work as part of a team and have advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
• Maintain exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Work as part of a team to develop collaborative and effective solutions
• Utilize working knowledge of fraud, waste and abuse laws (anti-kickback statute, false claims act)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience
• Associate's degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies
• Healthcare law experience preferred
• Law firm experience preferred
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with document management system strongly preferred

Salary Information:

The salary range for the Paralegal II role is $27.16 - $39.90 per hour. Compensation will depend on a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
