Mountain View, CA Senior Corporate Counsel: Senior Corporate Counsel - Empower Every Person and Organization at Microsoft H1: Join Our Team as Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft H2: Help Drive Cutting-Edge Innovations and Impact Billions of Lives Around the World Overview: - Microsoft is seeking a dynamic and experienced transactional attorney to join our Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) department as Senior Corporate Counsel. - In this role, you will support Microsoft's Software and Digital Platforms (SDP) business in becoming the premier AI platform and strategic partner, empowering companies to innovate and launch cutting-edge products. - Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, inspiring excellence, and encouraging collaboration and diversity. - This is a full-time position with the option to work up to 50% remotely. Qualifications: - Juris Doctor Degree or equivalent and 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney. - Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction. - 4 years of experience specializing in complex transactions, such as technology transactions, M&A, or business development. - Additional qualifications include proficiency in data protection, intellectual property, and commercial matters, as well as experience with cloud computing and AI. - Must have sound judgment, be a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Salary Information: - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $141,800 - $248,800 per year. - Different ranges may apply for specific work locations, such as the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area. - Certain roles may also be eligible for additional benefits and compensation, including healthcare, educational resources, discounts, savings and investments, maternity and paternity leave, time off, and opportunities for networking and connecting. Responsibilities: - Support sales, business development, and engineering teams in pursuing and closing strategic and complex technology transactions across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
