Salary Information: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications - Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and flexible working options - Opportunities for career progression within a nationally recognized firm Job Title: Agricultural Property Associate/Senior Associate Experience Information: - NQ-2 years of experience for one position and 5 years of experience for the other - Previous experience in a strong regional or City firm - Synergies with the current team who work with landed estates, Oxford Colleges, farmers, and landowners - Experience in agricultural and development work Department: Agricultural Property Team at Freeths Location: Oxford About The Freeths Agricultural Property Team: - Specialist team advising clients with interests in rural, agricultural, and development matters - Act for some of the largest estates in the UK - Ranked in the top tier of both The Legal 500 and Chambers as nationally recognized experts - Largely based in the Oxford office - Widely recognized as the leading and largest standalone team in the region - Comprised of 2 partners, 1 director, 2 managing associates, 1 senior associate, 2 associates, 1 trainee, and 1 legal assistant - Key part of the Freeths Real Estate team, the largest department in Freeths - Headed by Iain Davis, a nationally recognized Leading Individual and Recommended Lawyer for Agriculture and Estates About The Role: - Expansion mode due to client demand - Two positions available - one for NQ-2 years of experience and one for 5 years of experience - Examples of recent work include large land sales, promotion agreements for garden villages, and farm acquisitions and refinancing - Key Responsibilities include providing high-quality client service, financial management, business development, maintaining technical expertise, and continuous personal development Your Skills And Qualifications: - Previous directly relevant experience and the correct level of post-qualified experience (PQE) - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the industry and client's business - Proven track record in financial management, meeting client expectations, and case management skills - Good IT skills and experience with case management systems and Microsoft packages - Self-starting, friendly individual with excellent interpersonal skills - Able to consistently demonstrate and embody the firm's values Salary Information: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications - Excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and flexible working options - Opportunities for career progression within a nationally recognized firm No agencies - direct applications only.
