Salary: $90,530 to $124,705 annually, depending on candidate qualifications and experience

About the Position:
- Seeking an attorney with criminal law experience to serve as Managing Attorney of Appeals and Parole Programs
- Oversees general operations of both programs
- Directly supervises Appeals and Parole supervising attorneys
- Reports to the Executive Director
- Responsible for case supervision, direct representation, monitoring and evaluating procedures, tracking data and preparing reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and participating in executive management team meetings
- Join a historic legal aid office and work with a great team

Qualifications:
- Three years of criminal law experience as an admitted attorney in any jurisdiction
- Admission in good standing to the New York Bar, or eligibility for admission on motion
- Strong people skills and ability to supervise diverse personalities
- Strong statutory knowledge, especially of criminal statutes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Transparency:
- $90,530 to $124,705 annually, depending on candidate qualifications and experience
