Estate Planning Legal Assistant at Law Firm - 2-4 years experience

Looking for a skilled legal assistant with experience in supporting multiple areas of law, specifically estate planning. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Knowledge of case management system Aderant Total Office preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Manage physical and electronic files, pleading, discovery, and document logs
- Prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Prepare legal documents, letters, and memoranda in accordance with court procedures
- Maintain calendars and schedule meetings
- Provide administrative support to estate planning team
- Back up phones during lunch hour
- Handle special projects as assigned

Requirements:

- 2-4 years experience as a legal assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Attention to detail
- Tact and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Aderant Total Office preferred
- Knowledge of DocuSign and Dropbox preferred
