The role involves serving as the primary relationship advisor for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, providing comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and reputation in the community, as well as advanced knowledge in personal financial planning and financial advisory concepts. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire new clients and meet revenue growth, profitability, and client retention goals through business development and marketing Truist Wealth solutions - Use external network and community presence to self-acquire new business - Act as the expert level advisor for challenging and complex banking relationships - Develop relationships with external referral sources and work effectively with Truist product specialists to deliver solutions to clients' financial needs - Thrive in a team-based approach to deliver the full suite of Truist Wealth solutions - Act as a culture champion aligned with Truist's Purpose, Mission, and Values - Establish and maintain beneficial business relationships with internal and external centers of influence - Stay updated on changing economic, legal, and financial trends impacting affluent clients and serve as a resource for clients, attorneys, and CPAs - Maintain compliance with legal, operating, and regulatory controls - Use sound judgment on expense and operational efficiency Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - Appropriate FINRA licenses, including Series 7, Series 66, and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam - 8 or more years of experience in sales and client management in Wealth Management - Proven track record in managing a portfolio of high net and ultra-high net worth clients with complex credit and banking needs - Strong interpersonal, sales, presentation, and relationship management skills - Advanced credit knowledge and experience working on complex credit deals - Proven knowledge of deposit, credit, and investment products - Experience in a goal-based, results-driven sales environment - Ability to thrive in a team-based approach - Proficiency in basic computer applications Preferred Qualifications: - CFP preferred or CTFA, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA - Completion or enrollment in certification programs such as CFA, CFP, CPWA, and CPA - 5 or more years of sales and client management experience in Wealth Management - Graduate of a leadership or management development program Benefits: - Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans - Tax-preferred savings accounts and 401k plan - Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays - Eligibility for defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, and deferred compensation plan (depending on position and division) Apply now for this exciting opportunity to join the Truist team as a Wealth Advisor III in Atlanta, Georgia. |
